Everyday's a Weekend on Koh Phangan

Ever get that Friday feeling? Yep, every day on Koh Phangan!

For some unknown reason we find it is very common that people don’t know what day it is or date or the time, time is but just a concept here on paradise island.

Ok so it could be because you have been to Jungle Experience followed by Full Moon, Backyard and then Waterfall Party and Loi Lay so all these night owl movements have kicked your body clock out of sync a bit. Also, genuinely though, we all find ourselves not knowing what day it is from time to time all because we are so busy enjoying every single moment rather than worrying about getting places on time, rushing so we’re not late...no, that doesn’t really happen here.

It is the weekend now yes, maybe that’s an excuse to celebrate even more! But the great thing about being on Koh Phangan is that everyday's the weekend.

Even for those of us with ‘normal’ jobs here on the island, we love what we do so much and even a tough day is softened just by looking over at the ocean or up at the jungle covered mountains followed by a swim and a drink with friends.

You can entertain yourself any day of the week here, whether you want to dance, relax or try out some new adventure up at a viewpoint or paddle board on the sea, you don’t have to wait until the so called weekend to do it! Everything is within reach and accessible here on Phangan.

You can have a lazy Sunday on a Tuesday, have a lay in and catch up with some films then relax by the pool and have a cocktail at happy hour.

You can have a Saturday night on a Tuesday too if you like! Find a party, dance until your body paint runs off and the sun rises high in the sky, dance some more then take a taxi home and stay up all day with your newly found friends.

Who ever made the rules for the weekend anyway?! This should be what it’s like all the time, loving everything you do, no clock watching at work, passing time until that exciting appointment at the weekend.
