Hi Gennaro so you are one of the organisers of 'The Global Party' can you sum up what this is....
The Global Party is a marketing and charity initiative that has been designed to increase global awareness and promote the concept of giving back through the luxury hospitality industry.
Growing annually in its philanthropic reach and spanning the globe in support of worthy causes, since 2011 The Global Party has brought leading brands from the luxury hospitality and food & beverage industry together to jointly promote each other through its main goal.
How did you get involved?
I joined The Global Party family last January 2014. I was seeking a PR and Marketing role which could help me improve my interpersonal and communication skills as well as maintaining my interest for the hospitality and food & beverage industry.
What is your role?
My current position is PR and Partnerships Manager.
My daily duties are:
· identify, research, and track partnership opportunities
· Develop, implement and manage comprehensive strategic partnership plan
· Overseeing the creation and timely execution of collaboration strategies from project timelines, to implementation and resource management
· Team Supervision & Management
What is the concept and what do you hope to achieve from this?
We created The Global Party to promote the concept of giving back. The Global Party has been carefully established by The Global Charity Trust to raise much needed funds and awareness for good causes and to instil the philosophy of thinking about those less fortunate into an international audience whose interest and support can make an on-going and far reaching positive difference to so many.
We have introduced thousands of potential patrons to hundreds of good causes and have ourselves donated £2,000,000 NET directly to charitable causes.
Our mission is for The Global Party to occur for many years to come and to transcend over 360 cities worldwide, reaffirming its name as the largest premier party on the planet.
You are working with The Castle in Koh Tao, why did you choose them?
We have selected The Castle in Koh Tao because we only work with “the best of the best” and we think The Castle is the best nightclub in town.
What sorts of DJ's are involved and do you have just one style of music?
We do not hire DJ's, we partner with nightclubs to host our event on a selected date within March, June, September and December each year.
Our partner venues are totally free to run the night with the style of music they usually have.
However, December Global Party will see the launch of our first Music Album which will give them a taste of our musical preferences.
What other countries and venues are involved?
We currently have over 200 partners worldwide and I won’t be able to list all of them here.

Have you ever been to Koh Phangan or Thailand and what do you think of it?
Actually, I have never been to Thailand. I would like to visit it one day and lose myself in its beautiful tropical beaches as well as visit its historical and natural attractions.
What are your future projects?
I would love to develop my career in the hospitality sector working as an Event Manager and maybe go around the world thanks to this work.
What do you do in your free time?
I enjoy reading (especially history books and crime fiction) as well as watching sport and movies on TV.
I also like to practice my flair and mixologist bartender skills, experiencing new cocktails to propose during nights out with friends.
