Leo Beer Representative Nong Kwang

Introduce yourself for our readers…
My name is Nong Kwang, I am twenty years old and I’m from Suratthani.

How did you become a Leo beer representor?
After I graduated high school, I came to Koh Samui and started work in the hospitality industry until now when I am working in sales.

Fortunately I have a friend who works at the agency with me who suggested for me to apply for a job working with them, I decided to send my cv to the agency and they accepted me.

As this is a part time job it doesn’t effect with my full time job so now I‘ve been working with my agency which will organise the Leo beer event for the next three months time.

What is involved in your work?
Basically to sell Leo beer, I must greet customers and as Leo beer is already famous and well known it’s unnecessary to have to tell them.

We must present new products as we are the same company as Singha beer as well and they have got a light beer now.

I must explain how different the taste is from the original and new products then our customers have more choices and this can be matched with their true demand.

How do you like your role with Leo Beer?
Hmm… In the beginning I had lots of pressure because I had to contact with all the new customers  and deal with them, especially with Ferrangs.

After a month I am slowly getting confident and most importantly I have good support from colleagues  which is improving my teamwork skills.

Besides the pleasure of working with Leo beer I must be responsible and flow with different conditions in each event that I’ve learnt and have improved on a lot.

How do you like Koh Phangan?
I basically work with Phangan from Koh Samui, this is my first step into Koh Phangan which is a good experience for me in terms of changing in the workplace, doing something I have never done before. This island has reminded me of my home town because it remains natural and quiet that’s quite different with Koh Samui.

Unfortunately it’s bad weather and it’s been raining since I arrived so I haven’t seen much about koh Phangan and I must leave to Koh Samui soon.

How do you spend your free time?
I love sleeping because I work in two jobs so am very busy!

Sometimes I go to meet friends or for shopping and for buying accessories to be used in an event, Oh! I love eating too (laughing).

What’s your life goal at the moment?
Now I’m young and still have got plenty of energy that motivates me to work as much as I can.

I’d like to start saving until one day I can open my own business.
