Koh Phangan Tattoo Artist Meemi

Tattoo artist Meemi has lived on Koh Phangan for five years and started her career here under the watchful eyes of her friend and Teacher.

She specialises in realism and her work is impressive and has grown through her dedication and love for the art.

She now works at Ink Point Tattoo studio which is an extremely professional set up located in Thong Sala. The studio consists of herself, one Russian artist and a Thai Bamboo Tattoo artist.

Meemi would like to eventually expand the studio over the second floor. We discuss how Tattooing is still a slightly underground culture in Thailand despite its many artists and studios however it is beginning to be accepted in places. Of course lots of travellers from outside of Thailand chose to come get inked in the wonderful Country.
