Bry0 and Christopher Thomas’s good old pal Voyder is here on Koh Phangan for a holiday but of course he’s managed to paint some of Koh Phangan's walls as well.
Bry0 attempts to interview her friend about his artwork...

Hi Voyder so you’re a bit trepidatious of this interview aren’t you…?
Have I gotta answer that? Yeah. (laughs)
I’m generally better with pictures rather than words, hence why I only say my own name ALL THE TIME!
Okay so this isn’t your first time in Koh Phangan, tell us about your other times…
The first two times I came here was just with a group of friends for partying and a little bit of painting. I was with Magic, Deltron and 3dom and my good pals Corpy and Liam.
The last two times was just for relaxing and painting times with my beautiful partner.
I remember your mad graff missions, actually you guys taught me all I know, what’s changed in the last few years?
I used to do more illegal graffiti and it was just a bit of fun at university in Bristol until I started taking painting a bit more seriously.
Recently I have got into oil painting and more canvas work and going bigger on walls.
So what started you doing graffiti?
I don’t know really My friend Deltron, we started painting together as just a bit of a laugh and then we started to go bigger.
Moving to Bristol changed it I suppose, I started to take it more seriously, getting together with 3dom and Magic and starting a crew together.
Where are your favourite places to paint?
I like to paint abandoned places, abandoned buildings, factories and the odd bit of steel.
I’ve never asked you this, well if I have I can’t remember, why the name Voyder?
It’s a really boring story, I used to work at a newsagent and I’d have to write ‘void’ on receipts when a customer wanted to return something. So I added a ‘y’ then ‘er’ and made it my own and began scribbling it everywhere.
Do you like calligraphy and writing?
Yes, I like letter forms and playing with structures, I would say I focus less on letters now and more on portraiture and painting animals.
You’re oil paintings are looking rad! How are you finding this more traditional method?
It’s very time consuming and technical but I really like the finished thing. But I am still learning and have a long way to go.
Does your partner mind you painting her everywhere?
No, she quite enjoys it as she loves to travel so we travel a lot together, I write my own name and she writes loads of different words in a book. We’re both writers but I just write one word.
What do you love about Koh Phangan apart from me and Magic being here of course!?
Koh Phangan is a beautiful island, it’s hot and it has a very laid back atmosphere.
It’s a relaxed place to come and focus on work and I am not freezing which is a bonus!
Erhm, it’s harder than you think interviewing your friend, ok so where are you going next?
After here I’m going to Kuala Lumpur and after that I’m not completely sure but Bali and Komodo,
Melbourne, Phnom Penh and Hong Kong are possibilities.
As I’m over this side of the world I’ll try get as many paces in as I can.
Ok let’s do some quickfire questions!
