Sunju Hargun started his Electronic adventure very early in the age of 17. 

His roots are deeply embedded in his earlier years as drummer eventhough his transition into the electronic music scene started as early as 17! 

His low slung tones combined with trippy percussions and jazz influenced elements has caught the eye of record labels such as Little mountain, One with music, Nervine records, Microzoo records along with forthcoming remixes soon..

His current event schedule includes a bi-weekly residency at Qbar in Bangkok; along side main events in and around South East Asia and now he is here to show us his skills and talent at the Jungle Experience party at July 21st!

Phanganist connected to producer and Dj before his performance to hear what he is all about !

What do you feel you can bring to the Phangan scene?

Well, Phangan is known to have some very unique Djs as residents and of course so many local and international acts are coming through there as well, so I believe that everyone has something different to bring to the table, for me I believe I'm just gonna bring myself in good spirits.

What can we expect from you at your Jungle performance?

Lots of Bass

Do you have other plans to play on Phangan?

Actually this is a very short trip unfortunatley as I have to get back work in Bangkok, but I really do hope to come back soon and spend quality time on the island and hopefully get a chance to play at other venues/parties as well.

What is the best thing you ever been involved with or done?

Every year, I get involved in attending Dance Confrences and events in Europe. This has really helped in order to be in the loop of where the electronic music scene is at and it's also a good education to learn from various icons in the industry about how the music business works.
 

He brought  lots of music that he wants to play here and will be bringing quite a bit of variety!
He say he is looking forward to test out his own tracks which he has been working on for a couple of months.
Very Nice! We WILL be looking forward to hearing some of your own productions! It is always a treat when a DJ is playing his own Productions! Always a unique and personal experience!
 

Do you think Koh Phangan will be a good place for your music?

I do strongly believe that it is evolving into something special for sure, but hopefully I'll find out when I come as it will be my first time on the island.

What do you wish to learn from your Phangan experience?

As a DJ/Producer, gigs are constantly inspiring me so hopefully I can take the spirit of the island and use it in my productions.
