Apichat Suasawathee aka Plazdj, originaly from Bangkok, started dj'ing ten years ago and learned from a small dj school that taught him the basics.
He started to practice what he learned with vinyl more and more and soon started to bring his own ideas to the decks.

Five years ago he came to Koh Samui to DJ at Gecko Bar and Qbar. Every month since he first arrived to the islands he takes a trip here to KoH Phangan to spin at Kangaroo Bar and The Islander Bar on Magic Mountain with his friends T Gecko, Electrom, and DJ Lai for the Fullmoon Party.
The four friends have recently started their own festival now at a venue in the Baan Tai jungle called Open Air Muzic Festival which is growing popularity quickly. The number of visitors coming to enjoy the party have noticably increased every month since they opened the venue half a year ago and they are all very happy because they have put their all into the place.
He says, "I feel the island of Koh Phanang in general is very successful but I also feel I can bring the new era to the island. Everywhere in Koh Phangan is trance, techno, electro...my style of music is deep house, funky house, tech house and I feel like the island is lacking these genre's."
He finds Koh Phangan to be the best place for any kind of projects involving party's as it holds the largest parties in the country. His favorite place on the island is Kangaroo Bar where he plays every month during full moon.
In 10 years he hopes to be playing in big venues such as Amnesia, Cocoon and Pacha...that is his near future goal. His Phangan experience is showing him how being a real famous dj feels... making thousands of people dance!
When he he hears house music he feels every beat and loves the bass...he wants to make people feel the same love he feels for the music. That is his purpose and drive to continue learning and getting better every time he plays for a crowd.
