Dj Jonny Green

Jonny Green first started spinning vinyls at the age of 19 & gained a residence after his first ever gig at a underground house night called Detune in his home town of Chesterfield, UK.

Since then he has grew not only with his mixing ability but as a dj & performer. Jonny has played at some of the best events in the world such as Space, Flower Power, Eden & Bora Bora Beach in Ibiza. Ministry of sound, Pacha & Sankeys in the UK. Mandarin Oriental in Malaysia. After Dark Beach Party in Mexico. Jungle Experience & The Full Moon Party in Thailand to name just a few.

He has also got to dj alongside with some of the best djs in the business. Frankie Knuckles, Paul Oakenfold, Cajmere, Green Velvet, Lee Curtis, Darius Syrossian Ferry Corsten, DJ Q, Yousef, Gareth Emery, Javi Borato & far many more to name.

The last 3 years Jonny has been holding a residency as Itaca Beach Bar in Ibiza. Using this residence he has been able to go further with his sounds and become more experimental. Playing chill-out, down-temp to deep house for sunset downstairs & more underground sounds of deep basses, quirky tech & techno at night upstairs on the roof terrace.

Also in Ibiza he makes guest appearances at many clubs, bars, boats, villas & after parties. He also plays for the official pre-parties for Paradise at DC-10. Wisdom Glove at Pacha. SuperMatxe at Privilege & Matinee at Amnesia.
He also plays at the 4 day ‘October Festival’ for Flower Power mixing a mixture of Funk, Disco & Soul on the main stage on the beach.

Not only has he been living in Ibiza for the summer months but in the winter he ventures around the world with gigs in Central America and South East Asia playing at the best Beaches, clubs & Jungle parties. Also in the winter months working hard on his music production & co-founding his own record label called Purple Gorilla Records with two of his friends. Jonny’s tracks have been aired on the the famous BBC Introducing radio show on BBC Radio 1. Also been featured twice in the BBM Music Magazine.
