AARDY is an entrepreneur who graduated from the city of Hyderabad – India and began his trek into the world of music much in the early nineties.
WAREHOUSE - DUNGEON - DEEP - FUTURISTIC TECHNO - DARK - these are the words that describe AARDY.

Apart from his home-base in India, his recent musical escapades saw him rock clubs in Germany, Netherlands, China & Thailand.
2014 promises to be super packed as well. Many ears have also acclaimed Deep Tales, a monthly radiocast, where he showcases tunes varying from Deep, Tech & Techno.
With a consistency that’s hard to match, AARDY time and time again devises from Tech House gems to Techno bangers that emanate, invigorating energy.
His eargasmic DJ sets have won lot of hearts.
His demure & modest nature is just the other side of him, for he is an absolute blast when on command.
Aardy, thank you very much for this interview. What is your Koh Phangan story?
It’s my first time here. I love the still waters and the island itself seems mystique.
What is your connection to the scene here?
Darragh Casey is a good friend of mine and I’ve known him for a long time. I’m currently on tour with another great buddy who is label owner of Octopus Recordings – SIAN from Barcelona, Spain. Darragh has been kind enough to have us both here.

You played in Loi Lay – how did you like that?
The Floating Bar is a great concept, and I was very excited to be going there...and I wasn’t disappointed when I got there. It has the right vibe to make a great party and the staff compliments that as well.

What do you feel you can bring to the Phangan scene?
The idea is to spread quality music...and lots of love of course.
Do you have other plans to play on Phangan?
Unfortunately not. It’s a short trip but I’m hoping to be back soon.
What is the best thing you ever been involved with or done?
It will be unfair to single one thing out, but a shout out to each and every person/friend who has supported me on this journey.
Which music did you bring in your record bag for Phangan?
My music is a crossover between Deep & Techno...so I usually carry a lot of new stuff that’s been released apart from the unreleased promos, along with a blend of old classics.
Do you find Koh Phangan to be a good place for your music?
It’s an evolving scene here. I have been doing gigs in Bangkok for many years now and the scene in Thailand is far better than what it was years back. The crowd is more responsive, and as artists that what you want. The atmosphere is just perfect on the islands and the local DJs are doing a great job to keep the underground vibe alive.

Where is your favourite place here?
I haven’t seen much of the island, although I know Loi Lay is dishing out some great nights, and I’ve heard MAYA is to be likewise as exciting. I will need to explore a lot more in my next visit.
What do you hope to bring with you back from Phangan?
Made some good friends and great memories.

What are your next projects?
My immediate travel is to my home-base India, after which I have scheduled some more Asia dates, then move on to Europe in summer for a week or so.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I will be doing the same, hopefully on a larger scale.
How did you get to where you are today?
My family has been of immense support & all my friends who’ve helped me along the way. Surely I wouldn’t achieve so much without them.
What is your life philosophy?
My Philosophy?
“Drugs will get you nowhere, Music will.”
