Lucky balloon.
I'm sitting in the lobby, watching two Swedish girls, standing in the sand by the sea looking at each other, - amazed.
Half an hour before they were sitting in the sofa, drinking a beer and talking lovely small talk.
They look happy generally.
The Thai guy from the table nearby comes to offer them a lucky balloon.
He explain to them, that these balloons are a costum in Thailand and you can know how lucky this person will be this year by the flight of the balloon.
You light it from the bottom and it will swell from the heat and simply fly to the sky, move away slowly, until it disappears..
And you can pray for good things to happen..this is a real nice costum!
You can write all kind of things on the balloon, like things that you want to release or things that you want to happen.
Or you can just write "thank you".
The Swedish girls look like they like the idea, takes one balloon and starts writing some things on it in Swedish.
They look so happy and excited with big smiles.
When they are finished, they light the balloon for its flight while one girl holds the balloon and sends it off - with her friend creating her facebook Lucky Lamp Gallery.
The Thai guy is watching from the lobby, smiling.
The Swedish girl closes her eyes for a minute, moving her lips in a quiet prayer and tries to send the balloon to the sky.
The balloon rises up a little bit, starts to move forward and then dives to the sand.
She picks it up and tries again, short prayer, smile to the camera and...the balloon just don't want to go up.
She holds the balloon in her hands, smiles and looks very embarrassed.
And then, in one second, the balloon burns in front of her surprised eyes.
And this is her lucky balloon.
Ohh mama..
The lobby in shock, the Thai guy holding his head in his hands.
I'm sure he is really sorry that he started all this.
The girls looks at each other and starts laughing loud, a laugh that changes to a very big cry of one of them.
The one that tried to send off the balloon.
The Thai guy runs quickly to bring her a new balloon. But it seems like it doesn't relax her.
Now she is sitting in the sofa in the lobby, holding a bottle of beer and stares into space.
I think she is sorry that she startes all this also..
I believe that there is no such thing as good luck or bad luck.
Because in the end of the day everything that happens are for good.
Everything that happens, happens to make us grow, even if it in the same moment looks like bad or good experience, we will understand exactly why it happen and how it serve our high goodness, when the hard time past.
But no doubt that you feel bad when your lucky balloon explodes in your face..
Hopa hey, I see movement on the sofa.
The girls opens the new balloon and write all kinds of things on it.
It seems like they are going to give it another try.
The balloon is light and ready.
Everything looks ok.
The Thai guy don't take risks and run to help..and again, scene of Facebook picture, the Swedish girl smile a big smile, another short prays and she turns to the water with the lit balloon.
She releases the balloon, it stands for a minute in the air, like thinking what to do right now, then rises up a little bit and exactly when everybody are relieved, - the balloon starts to dive towards the water.
The Swedish girl starts running in panic to the water, catches the balloon and throws it into the air, shouting something in swedish.
The Thai guy and her friend with the camera, whom runs after her to the water, is not moving at all, a little bit in shock.
The balloon begins to fly upwards, the girl waves bye bye, she's looking nerveaux.
Then she gets out from the water, making faces to her friend's camera.
So, the girls returns to the sofa and their beers.
The Thai guy goes back to his table.
Non of them look happy.
And me.
I'm sitting here in the lobby, watching it all passing by, all that happening live, looking at the sea.
Success to see the amazing shining glows sparkling on the surface of the sea.
Because if you don't see the sparkles, you don't really see the sea.
And you are not absolutely in the moment.
And the best thing is to be absolutely in the moment.
It can heal you.
Because as we all know,
It's a present to be present in the present.
