DJ Aldrin is One of Asia's biggest DJ export to date; he has been championing his genre-bending sounds through his signature ONE nights at Zouk in Singapore, and guest spots all over the globe, including Pacha, Space & DC10 in Ibiza, Turnmills, The Cross and Ministry Of Sound in London, Cielo in New York, Womb in Tokyo, and Home in Sydney.
In the studio, his releases have received support from big guns like John Digweed, Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, and Hernan Cattaneo, to name a few.
His remix of "Love In New Wave" by Singapore rock band Electrico received massive airplay by Pete Tong on his BBC Radio One show.
Performing at the last Jungle Party was his first opportunity to visit the island. “This was my virgin trip to Koh Phangan as a tourist, and DJing in a massive party!”
“My only knowledge about Koh Phangan was about its infamous Full Moon Party. I had no idea that there are parties such as the jungle experience on Koh Phangan.”

You played in Jungle Experience – how did you like that?
“I got the opportunity to play at the Jungle EXP through a DJ friend from Malaysia. It was an amazing experience! The crowd was great and the energy fantastic!
I played mostly Deep House, Tech House & Techno with a little bit of classics thrown in.”
What do you listen to yourself when you want to unwind?
“To be honest, I tend to favour silence whenever I need to unwind as I listen to music morning noon & night, shifting through promos, and ploughing through the web for fresh jams.”
Do you find Koh Phangan to be a good place for your music?
“Surprisingly yes! I initially had the impression that the island was all about Psy-trance & commercial mainstream cheddar, but I am impressed with the music policy at Jungle Experience, Kangaroo Bar & Back Yard.”
Future Gigs:
ONE with Aldrin is a bi-monthly night in Singapore, which had been running for the last decade at the infamous Zouk.
Singapore Island Culture Club (SICC) is a relatively new bi-monthly night in Singapore, promoting a Nu Disco/Indie Dance/Deep House/UK Bass soundtrack.
Disco:very is a bi-monthly night at Zouk's Velvet Underground room.
Present Projects
“I'm running my own digital imprint One with Music and currently working on a remix for my label's next release. I am also working on several new tracks in the Nu Disco/Indie Dance vein to support my SICC nights.”

Hopes & Dreams?
"Over the last 2 years, I am in the process of reinventing myself, hoping to re-establish myself in the Deep House/Tech House/Techno and Nu Disco/Indie Dance scenes respectively."
What is your life philosophy?
"Do it good and do it once.
I learned this important lesson during my 2.5 years of military service.
I also believe that being nice & humble is key to a happy life!"
